My name is Alistair Dickerson, the artist behind The Rumble God. I chose this name because of the challenges I've overcome—both mentally and physically—throughout my life. These experiences have shaped me into a passionate musician, driven by rhythm, resilience, and a relentless desire to grow and inspire others.
I am a professional solo marimba performer based in Cape Town, South Africa. I'm fully employed by Mobile Music Academy, offering private lessons to students of all ages (5+) both at homes and schools across the city.
Every live show travels with a purpose-built rig that keeps the marimba front and center while delivering studio polish on any stage.
A full marimba classroom travels with me, giving every student hands-on access to professional instruments.

A browser-based virtual marimba studio with playable Bass, Tenor, and Alto instruments, keyboard controls, MIDI support, Rumble Points, learning modes, recordings, metronome settings, tutorials, and a Roblox virtual marimba link.
Switch between Bass, Tenor, and Alto marimba types, with the live Studio showing note ranges and unlock costs through the Rumble Points system.
The Learn section includes difficulty options from guided Easy mode through Legendary tracks, plus tutorial navigation for step-by-step practice.
